The Athens Challenge 2010 from my point of view
March 5th, 2010 by HaraldSchmidt received No Comments »
This year was the first time that I attended the Athens Challenge. I always heard from other fighters that this tournament is great and this year I finally was able to see it with my own eyes. Nikos Memmos, Roy Baker and everyone else who helped to run the Athens Challenge did a great job!!! The organisation e.g. the shuttle service, pool lists, … was good.
The referees did a great job as well, the judging was much better than at the World Championships from the last year!!! I hardly saw fights were I had an other opinion as the referees. I don’t know how many competitors have participated in the AC but there have been many very good fighters from all around Europe.
I really enjoyed this tournament and I hope that I’ll be able to participate in the AC next year again.
